Welcome to the Consultation page of the Hawk Homes Website.
This current project is for 31 dwellings and provision of a Habitat Enhancement Area. The development would provide a new four acre nature reserve, which would have new ponds for the relocation of the Great Crested Newts. It would also be available for the Bronington School pupils to access for their nature studies. The new road diversion would remove the existing dangerous bend and each side of the road new hedges and planting will be introduced. This would provide not only a safer road for the village, but a safer footpath to the church.
There will be a mix of properties to suit all requirements including 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses, bungalows together with 4 affordable dwellings. This site was the subject of a public meeting in 2015. The project has been amended to include suggestions made at the time, (including the footpath to Bronington Church to the East). Due to new legislation introduced by the Welsh Government in 2016 ((Town and Country Planning Development Management Procedure) (Wales) (Amendment) Order 2016) we now need to undertake a further specific public consultation prior to submission of the planning application.
The documents below form the basis of a planning application to be submitted to Wrexham County Borough Council.
Please note that any submitted planning application will be publicised by the Council and any comments provided in response to this notice will not prejudice your ability to make representations (for or against) to the Council on the planning application.
Your comments at this stage are important as they may further update and amend the scheme. In order that the consultation is transparent your comments will be submitted to the Council as part of the planning application process and may be placed on the public file.
We would welcome your comments and suggestions relating to the scheme.
